Decorative Concrete Finish Types
We use a standard 20Mpa mix unless specified and place to your desired finish- this may be sponged, broomed or machine finished depending on your project needs.
There are a large range of colours available to achieve your desired look, powdered or liquid colour, we are able to help you decide which is the right look for you.
We recommend sealing coloured concrete to bring out vibrancy. This also protects the concrete and maintains the colour to stay vibrant for much longer.
Exposed Aggregate is achieved using a process of placing the concrete, spraying with a rugasol agent to allow the top layer to be water blasted followed by acid washing the concrete to expose the stone.
We then seal the exposed aggregate with two coats of sealer to achieve a vibrant finish and protect the concrete. Colour may also be added to exposed aggregate if desired.
Another option we provide is asphalt for driveway and car parking areas.
We are also able to complete asphalt vehicle crossings which are compulsory for most new subdivision builds.
Does your concrete need to be brought back to life?
We are available to clean and reseal existing concrete to bring back the vibrancy.
Build up of grime and dirt can change the appearance and also make your surface slippery when damp or wet.
We apply a high pressure waterblast to remove this and then reseal the concrete to give it that new freshly finished appearance.
